I have been here couple of times before for Wednesdays unlimited Dosa platter and enjoyed. I also tried Biryani. I ordered medium spice and my surprise it was really a medium spicy and not suppressed spice with sugar or rice. I would visit this place again
This is the best South Indian restaurant in the valley hands down. I would say even California does not have this. Great food, will come back soon.
Newly renovated restaurant, ambience is very good. The quality of food is awesome, we ordered mysore masala dosa, butter chicken and andhra chicken. All food tasted very well and quantity was decent. Staff is polite and respectful. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes.
Delicious food, really spicy in a great way. The service was a little slower than I’d like especially since we were the only ones there but the food made up for it. Overall great food, good seasoning, good selection. Would return!
Ordered sadhya for onam, all the items were really good. I could see they have put a huge effort in making everything perfectly. My go-to place for authentic south Indian restaurant. Only drawback is it's located in north Phoenix.
On a vacation from Houston and found this restaurant on the way to Phoenix airport from flagstaff. Village kodi vepudu was too good, Also had Goat curry and garlic naan. Overall taste was excellent. This is authentic Indian restaurant with real good spices and flavors. Good luck to the beautiful family who runs this restaurant.
If you are in phoenix area and like indian food, you shall stop at this place. I highly recommend to put this in your to do list in phoenix area. Great food, Great service and Great people. Super deliciously cooked. We went for Christmas day buffet, and they served Idiyappam and various other authentic Kerala dishes. This is by far the best Indian restaurant we have been to in th US.
This place is one of our favorites in Phoenix. We love the different varieties of Dosas available in this place. We specifically like the Gobi 65 and Thalapakatti Biriyani which is available on certain days of the week. For Onam, they made a special meal and they did a spectacular job on that.
The experience at Dosa Place was exquisite. I like to call myself a dosa connoisseur and have tried many dosa places all over the world. I have to say Dosa Place hit the nail on the head with this one. With one bite you can tell the dosa mixture was made perfectly, accompanied by tasty sambar and chutney. Often you have dosa in places where the dosa may be good but the sambar and chutney will be subpar. I give 5 stars for all 3. We also got the beef kizhi porotta and all I can say is ... WOW. The beef is seasoned so well and has the perfect amount of spice. The porotta is soft and is a fantastic combination with the beef. Run, don't walk for this dish!! You can tell the chef makes his dishes with love. We will no longer be going to other Indian restaurants in Arizona as Dosa Place hit all of the notes on our taste buds. We arrived as soon as it opened on a Saturday and the place was already filling with customers. This speaks for itself. Would highly recommend Dosa Place as it takes you all the way to Kerala in just one bite.
